hey there kids,
well, long day, tiring day and yeah..........
so, number one....yesterday the école de langue rented out the kitchen in Loblaws and we went there to learn how to make stuff with maple syrup....
one of the recipes is called "les pets de soeurs" translated as Nun Farts.....we also had "Pudding Chomeur" (aka...homeless person pudding...)(perhaps the english version is poor man's pudding, but it's been so long since I've eaten that, i wouldn't be able to tell you if they were the same...) and little maple sugar tarts....SO GOOD!
anyways, demain, we're going to the cabane à sucre, aka sugar shack, and we're gonna eat lunch there....i'm assunming that lunch involves sugar.....oh i'M gonna get sick, aren't i?....
anyways, today là, i had a presentation on Leaf Rapids and how they are the first "city" in North America to ban the use of plastic bags. well, i woke up @ 924 (and class starts @ 930....so i ran around the house, sent james a message to tell my prof i'd be there asap, and ran to school.
ok, so i didn't run, but i did have a good walk going for a while......
anyways, the presentation went good.
then in my conversation workshop we played matthew's game mafia...and once I was able to explain to the class how to play....it went really well! muahahahaha!
anyways, and that's it....going to Josh's house tonight and then got me some school tomorrow....ah, i have to go the pisser. later kids. -tara
