when fates collide part 2

so yeah, i don't really know why i used the title "when fates collide" to begin with.......to be honest i don't really think it was the best choice of titles......

but as any xenite would have noticed.....it is the title of an episode of xena (not the kicking genebrat part, that was my own.......)

and as it turns out, i just watched that episode......fantastic.....:D

(i watched old ares had a farm the other day matt- f-ing hilarious!)

anyways, in my quest for being able to cook pâte chinois for myself one day, i found a recipe.....:D with all three ingredients. hamburger. creamed corn. potatoes. (dare i say, this could be something that i might be able to cook?)

anyways, so i'm perusing this website and i see this link for other 'québécois' recipes on the website......and then i click on the "traditional" sub-catagory.............

there was a recipe for "French Fried Skunk."

yep......skunk.....cooked with bear lard (or fat)

omg this recipe is so disgusting....besides the fact that someone besides cletus the slack jawed yokel or someone from the pas would actually want to eat this, it actually states, "make sure you remove the scent glands."

can you imagine sitting down with ma and pa for a nice skunk supper and getting sprayed with, what some might think is a self-produced vinagrette, skunk spray?

oh, and my favorite part of the recipe.....

Remove all scum that rises to the surface.

should people be eating things that involve scum?
