trip to b-dot

hey there kids,

long time, no post!

well, today matt and i went on in to brandon to finish off some christmas shopping. and i got everything i went for, plus some!

one thing i didn't like about today's trip was that my father was also in the city. i normally wouldn't have a problem with this....but my father has a tendancy to buy everything he wants 3 days before christmas, thus screwing over everyone who bought him a present.... anyways, so everytime i would see something, i would be like....no, he's gonna see that and buy it....thus making shopping for him very difficult....

anyways, like i said we did some shopping. and went to starbucks 3 times......once just with matt, then once with cara edge and matt and then, finally, once with barb and matt....

AND WE WENT TO TIMMY HO'S TOO!!!

(which as of late has been named THE BEST tim horton's in canada, not just second best anymore kids!)

then matt, barb and i went to this investment thing with my uncle doug....which, although i think @ 21 and being unemployed didn't really apply to me, was still interesting and got me thinking about my future finances...

the three of us also took a trip down to the skating oval and saw the christmas lights....

anyways, then matt and i headed home (rocking out to my new "best of Ace of Base" cd) (I SAW THE SIIIIIIIIIIGN!) and headed over to his house and ate hummus and drank tea.

(hey matt, for some reason i just thought of the last time Bonnie and Clyde had an excellent adventure in brandon-do you remember crusing down victoria avenue to Cruel Summer?....weird coincidence....)

anyways, all in all, it was a great day!

tomorrow is "christmas eve" at matt's house...basically we're gonna gorge ourselves on appetizers (LIKE SUPRISE SPREAD!!!!) and punch and the kids are gonna open up their christmas presents before matt's brothers and families head off to their wives homes..... then on sunday the real christmas eve is over here...

but i will be posting before then.....there are a few video's in the works....so, check back soon!
